Who we are
Tri City Aquatic Club (TCAC) is an age-group competitive Swim Club in the Tidewater Region. TCAC competes in local and state USA Swimming officiated competitions. Our swimmers range from ages 5 to 18, with abilities ranging from the developmental level to the top of the state within their age-groups. TCAC currently practices out of four aquatic facilities in the Hampton Roads area and our membership includes over 150 swimmers.

We encourage the idea of a well balanced student/athlete and understand as well as support our swimmers who participate in several sports and activities. The commitment level of each athlete is dependent upon the individual. We have had great success bringing the love of swimming back to former competitive swimmers who have been “burnt-out” by high intensity programs demanding total commitment.

  • There is no bingo
  • There are no yearly contracts
  • Swimming as a sport, not your life

Practice Locations
We have practices in three locations throughout the year and have practice outdoors in the summer. The three major locations are Mount Trashmore YMCA in Virginia Beach, Virginia Wesleyan College in Norfolk, and Fleet Rec Park in Norfolk. In the summer we spend our mornings at Pembroke Meadows. Looking for the closest pool? Get directions to all of our practice locations.
